Most owners assume a retrofit is unaffordable. They are pricing it wrong.
New Jersey's utility programs exist to pay for exactly this work — pulling old, inefficient equipment out of existing buildings and replacing it with something that costs far less to run.
Typical incentives run 50–80% of total project cost, with most projects landing at up to 70%. The final number depends on your utility tier and the building's energy usage. We handle the survey, the energy model, the application and the utility coordination. You approve the scope.
What we replace
All equipment →
Rooftop units
The most common retrofit we run. Old packaged units burning power to hold setpoint.

Boilers
New Jersey is full of oversized, decades-old boilers heating apartment buildings.
View
Heat pumps
The biggest incentive category in New Jersey right now, and by a distance.
View
Chillers
The largest single energy load in most buildings that have one.
View
PTAC
Hotels and older apartment buildings, replaced floor by floor.

Mini-splits
For the very large share of NJ buildings that never had a duct in them.

Multifamily is the biggest opportunity in the state right now.
Four steps, and we run three of them.
The paperwork is the part that stops most buildings doing this. It is also the part we do for you.
- 01
Survey
We walk the building, log every unit, and take 12 months of your electric and gas bills.
- 02
Energy model
We model what the replacement saves. That number sets the incentive.
- 03
Application
We file with your utility and manage the approval end to end.
- 04
Install
Licensed partner contractors do the work, scheduled around your operations.
Which program you use depends on who bills you.
Not on your town. Territory boundaries do not follow municipal lines, so the first thing we check is the top of your electric bill.
Electric
PSE&G
Northern and central New Jersey, plus parts of the south
New Jersey's largest utility. Most of the north and center of the state.
JCP&L
Shore, northwest and parts of central New Jersey
The shore, the northwest, and a large slice of the center.
Atlantic City Electric
Southern New Jersey and the southern shore
South Jersey and the shore, where hospitality dominates.
Gas
New Jersey Natural Gas
Monmouth, Ocean, Morris and parts of Burlington
The shore and central counties. Gas-side incentives for heating work.
South Jersey Gas
Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Salem, Gloucester and parts of Camden and Burlington
South Jersey's gas utility. Pairs with Atlantic City Electric on most projects.
Elizabethtown Gas
Union, Warren, Hunterdon, Sussex and parts of Middlesex and Mercer
Union, the northwest, and parts of the center. Gas-side heating incentives.
PSE&G supplies both fuels across much of its territory, so a project there can qualify on both sides through one utility. Everywhere else, electric and gas are two different companies and two separate applications.
All twenty-one counties.
Every county page says which utility runs your incentive and what the commercial building stock there actually looks like — because a Hudson County high-rise and a Burlington County warehouse are not the same project.
What we are not
We are an energy-efficiency retrofit company, not a service contractor. Saying so plainly saves everyone a phone call. Installation is carried out by licensed partner contractors we work with.
- Repairs or service calls
- Maintenance contracts
- Emergency or after-hours dispatch
- Single-family residential work
- New construction

Find out what your building qualifies for.
A survey and an energy model give you the real number. That starts with a phone call, not a commitment.
