South Jersey Gas Commercial Rebates
South Jersey Gas covers most of the southern counties, which means that on a typical South Jersey project it is the gas half and Atlantic City Electric is the electric half. Both get filed, and on heating work the gas side is usually the larger number.

How does this pair with the electric program?
Most South Jersey buildings are on South Jersey Gas for heating and Atlantic City Electric for power, so a project touching both fuels produces two applications and two incentives.
A hotel is the clearest example. Replacing PTAC units with heat pumps is an electric-side project; replacing the central boiler and domestic hot water plant is a gas-side one. On a property doing both, filing only one is leaving real money behind.
What is the strongest gas-side candidate down here?
Hospitality domestic hot water and central heating plant, followed by food processing and agricultural facilities through Cumberland and Salem.
Hotels run enormous domestic hot water loads around the clock, and that plant is frequently as old as the building. It is assessed alongside space heating rather than separately.
Does coastal exposure matter on the gas side?
Less than on the electric side, because the plant is indoors. Salt exposure is a specification issue for outdoor condensers and PTAC sleeves rather than for a boiler room.
